Accessing TikTok Analytics
Switch to a Pro Account (free) to access analytics. Go to Profile > Menu > Creator tools > Analytics.
Key Metrics to Monitor
Per-Video Metrics
- Average watch time: How long people actually watch. Your most important metric
- Watch full video %: What percentage watched to the end
- Traffic source: Where views came from (For You, Following, Search, etc.)
- Audience territories: Where your viewers are located
Account Metrics
- Follower growth: Track daily gains and losses
- Active times: When your followers are most active (best times to post)
- Audience demographics: Age, gender, and location of your followers
Using Data to Improve
- If average watch time is low: Your hook needs work
- If views are high but follows are low: Add a clear CTA
- If traffic is mostly "Following": Your content isn't reaching new people — try trending formats
- If saves are high: That content type resonates — create more of it
